I'm currently sitting at a cafe called Old Malaysia Kopitiam in Kuala Lumpur Airport waiting for my connecting flight to Tokyo. I just got off an 8 hour flight and have another 8 hour flight to go - yay :-s For some reason as I was scouring for the cheapest ticket, it didn't occur to me that Malaysia is NOT AT ALL on the way to Tokyo. It's like going from Kogarah to Manly via Parramatta. Oh well, at least I got to try a Nonya Laksa at the airport!
It doesn't help that I'm wearing waterproof, hiking-grade ugg boots lined with sheepskin and it's about 30 degrees here (they don't seem to be as generous with their airconditioning as Singapore or Hong Kong, even in the airport).
I will arrive in Tokyo at 7:15 tomorrow morning, catch a bus from Narita Airport to Haneda Airport, to catch a domestic flight to Sapporo at 11:00.
My flight's boarding in 5 minutes so better go!
